Yasin “Nisqy” Dinçer and Team Vitality are officially parting ways ahead of the highly anticipated League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC) 2025 Summer Split. This decision follows an underwhelming performance during the team’s initial split of the season.

Nisqy, a 26-year-old player known for his strategic gameplay, joined Team Vitality in March as a support player, stepping in for Zdravets “Hylissang” Galabov, who was benched after the team’s rocky start. Transitioning from his original role as a mid-laner, Nisqy was brought in to bolster the bottom lane alongside ADC Matyáš “Carzzy” Orság.

Despite high expectations, the switch failed to yield the desired improvements. Team Vitality’s struggles continued throughout the LEC 2025 Winter, where they exited in the first round of the playoffs, and they didn’t even qualify for the Spring Split playoffs—an alarming feat considering their stature in the competitive landscape. A particularly disappointing tiebreaker loss to Team Heretics on May 13 further solidified their fate, eliminating them from contention for both the Esports World Cup 2025 and the Mid-Season Invitational 2025.

While the team’s overall performance cannot be laid solely at Nisqy’s feet, his brief tenure as a support player did not meet expectations. Statistically, he ended the LEC 2025 Spring as one of the least effective players in his role, posting the league’s third-lowest KDA (2.20) and vision score per minute (3.58), alongside a fifth-lowest kill participation rate (72.3%) and a 33.3% first blood victim rate. After just over two months, Nisqy has decided to return to his former role, signaling a need for a more traditional strategy as the team prepares for the upcoming split.

As for Team Vitality’s next steps, they have yet to announce a replacement for their third support player of the season. Reports indicate that academy player Kadir “Fleshy” Kemiksiz is the frontrunner to fill this position. Having joined Vitality.Bee in December 2024 following a promising stint with Karmine Corp, Fleshy has demonstrated significant potential. In the LPL 2025 Spring, he averaged a commendable KDA of 6.8, a vision score per minute of 3.88, and a kill participation rate of 81.1%.

The upcoming roster changes come at a critical juncture for Team Vitality, as they aim to rebound from recent shortcomings and refocus their strategies for the Summer Split. Stakeholders and fans alike are eagerly anticipating how these adjustments will impact their performance on the rift. With the competitive landscape ever-evolving, swift adaptation will be essential for success in the fast-paced world of esports.
