Team Liquid Lift PGL Wallachia Season 4 Trophy

In a remarkable display of skill and strategy, Team Liquid successfully defended their PGL Wallachia crown on Sunday, prevailing over PARIVISION in the Season 4 grand final of the esteemed Dota 2 tournament.
Entering PGL Wallachia Season 4 as underdogs with odds of $8.00 on leading Dota 2 betting platforms, Team Liquid struggled to shed this label during the group stage. Their initial performances were inconsistent, including a definitive 0-2 defeat against Team Falcons, followed by a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Xtreme Gaming. However, their resilience became apparent as they navigated through the Swiss Stage.

Team Liquid accelerated their performance by defeating Tundra Esports and the tournament favorites, Team Spirit. However, they fell short against ESL One Raleigh 2025 champions PARIVISION in the upper-bracket finals. Demonstrating tenacity, Team Liquid rebounded by overcoming Tundra Esports once more in the lower-bracket finals, setting the stage for a highly anticipated rematch against PARIVISION.
The grand final was no walk in the park for Team Liquid. After taking a commanding 2-0 lead, they faced an unexpected resurgence from PARIVISION, who equalized the series. The final match pushed them to a decisive fifth game, where Michal “Nisha” Jankowski emerged as a standout player, contributing to 22 of the team’s 42 kills in a grueling 72-minute showdown. Ultimately, Team Liquid clinched their second Tier 1 Dota 2 trophy.
For their commendable victory, Team Liquid took home a prize of $300,000 from a total prize pool of $1 million. Meanwhile, PARIVISION received $175,000 as a consolation, falling short of securing their second major title of 2025.
As the excitement from PGL Wallachia Season 4 as dissipated, the top Dota 2 teams are now preparing for their next challenge: BLAST Slam III. Slated to start on May 5, this upcoming tournament will feature 10 Dota 2 teams competing for another $1 million prize pool. The anticipation for this competitive showdown is already beginning to build among fans and stakeholders alike.
Stay tuned as the Dota 2 landscape continues to evolve, with each tournament further shaping the narrative of this fast-paced and dynamic esports scene.
