Exploring the Potential for iGaming Subscription Services

This week, a significant survey conducted by YouGov has unveiled promising insights into the emerging market for sports betting subscription services. The data suggests a noteworthy willingness among bettors to invest in these innovative offerings.

According to the report, 22% of respondents indicated they would be “very likely” to enroll in a subscription service, while an additional 43% expressed they were “somewhat likely” to do so. Notably, 44% of those leaning towards subscription were from the 18-34 age demographic, a group increasingly engaged with digital gambling platforms. In contrast, merely 18% stated they were “not at all likely” to subscribe, with another 10% feeling “not very likely.”

The motivations behind this interest are revealing. A substantial 46% of bettors cited access to exclusive promotions as a compelling reason to subscribe, followed closely by 45% who favored lower fees or reduced commissions. Additional factors included new betting markets (38%) and personalized offers (35%).

When it came to cost, 25% of bettors reported they would be willing to pay up to $10 per month for a subscription. Furthermore, 17% indicated a willingness to spend between $10 and $19, while 12% were ready to invest $20 or more monthly.
