Peruvian Dota 2 team Infamous Gaming has officially unveiled a revamped roster, integrating five new players, including two returning members previously released during the last roster restructuring. The announcement, made on Saturday, confirmed the departure of key players: Marcelo “S1RENM” Heredia, Michael “DCMC” Rufino, Nicolás “Hermit” Flores, Maykol “MonHty” Ramos, and Jimmy “JimmyCoff666” Cardenas.

To enhance their competitive edge, Infamous has signed Gerardo Jeanpier “JP” Torres Chavez, Jordan “TakeCareMia” Huaman, Jose “CHAAANNN” Diaz, along with returning players Alexis “sl4d1n-” Sitl and Juan “lalatronii” Rosales. Both sl4d1n and lalatronii were part of the earlier Infamous lineup, which was ultimately disbanded to pave the way for five new arrivals.

Despite a promising start, Infamous struggled last season, failing to achieve significant milestones. In fact, their performance during the current year has been lackluster, as the team did not qualify for any major tournaments and experienced limited success across seven qualifier events.

Among their more notable achievements, Infamous secured participation in the PGL Wallachia Season 3 and ESL One Raleigh 2025 closed qualifiers. Unfortunately, they finished in fifth to sixth place in both instances, without securing any tournament qualifications. With the newly formed blend of experienced individuals and fresh talent, Infamous hopes to rejuvenate their status and reclaim their place as a leading Dota 2 team within South America.

Despite recent challenges, Infamous Gaming maintains its reputation as a prominent figure in the South American Dota 2 landscape, especially after their remarkable performance at The International 2019, where they achieved a seventh-eighth place finish—the best result for any team in the region to date.

Infamous debuted their newly constructed roster at the ULD Epi2: Americas on Saturday, delivering an impressive 2-0 victory against Red Submarine in the opening round of the group stage. This strong performance heralds a new chapter for the team, with fans watching closely to see how this fresh lineup will navigate the competitive Dota 2 scene moving forward.
