GCGRA approves two new vendors for UAE lottery market

Latest Developments in UAE’s Gambling Sector: Scientific Games and Random State Awarded Licenses

Among the first movers in this arena, previously licensed companies include industry heavyweights such as IGT Global Services, Novomatic, and Aristocrat Technologies Europe. Established in 2023, the GCGRA plays a crucial role in regulating gambling, national lottery operations, and commercial gaming activities across the Emirates. Noteworthy milestones achieved by the GCGRA include the issuance of the country’s sole lottery license to The Game LLC in June 2023 and the granting of the inaugural land-based casino license to Wynn Resorts in 2024.
