Caesars Entertainment, Inc. recently announced a significant expansion of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Online platform, adding Pennsylvania to its already robust roster that includes Nevada, New Jersey, and Michigan. This strategic move positions Caesars as the first online poker operator in the United States to share liquidity across four jurisdictions, creating a unified player pool for poker enthusiasts across these states.

### Enhanced Player Experience and Bigger Prize Pools

According to Danielle Barille, Vice President of Online Poker at Caesars Entertainment, “The addition of the Pennsylvania player pool to WSOP Online comes at the perfect time. We’re excited to provide avid poker players in the Keystone State with the opportunity to elevate their gameplay.” She emphasized that this expansion will significantly enhance player experience by building larger prize pools, especially during the bustling summer schedule of WSOP Online events.

### Pennsylvania Joins the Multi-State Internet Gaming Agreement (MSIGA)

This announcement coincides with Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro’s recent signing of an agreement to accept Pennsylvania as the sixth member of the Multi-State Internet Gaming Agreement (MSIGA) for online poker. This inclusion is expected to provide more options for the estimated 150,000 online poker players in the state, effectively increasing the player pool by over 50%. Pennsylvania’s entry into the MSIGA follows Michigan’s recent integration with Nevada and New Jersey on WSOP Online, further solidifying a multi-state iGaming strategy.

The MSIGA currently includes Delaware, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, and West Virginia. The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) plans to collaborate with online operators and other state gaming agencies to ensure a fair and rigorous gaming environment for its online players.

### Pennsylvania’s Growth in the Online Gaming Landscape

Governor Shapiro remarked, “This is a commonsense step to support hundreds of thousands of Pennsylvanians, grow our economy, and generate more revenue for our schools, seniors, and small businesses.” He added that with this action, Pennsylvania maintains its competitive edge in a rapidly evolving online gaming market.

### Upcoming WSOP Online Bracelet Schedule and Events

In addition to these developments, Caesars also unveiled the 2025 WSOP Online Bracelet schedule, featuring 30 bracelet events that coincide with the 56th annual World Series of Poker, taking place at Caesars Rewards destinations Paris Las Vegas and Horseshoe Las Vegas on the Las Vegas Strip.

The first Online Bracelet event kicks off on May 31, culminating in a total of five live final tables. Notably, the final event is scheduled to begin on July 15. This year also features an Online Bracelet Leaderboard, with over $30,000 in prizes up for grabs, offering participants the chance to be crowned the 2025 WSOP Online Bracelet Player of the Year.

### Exciting Tournaments and Entry Opportunities

Every Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday during the series will present opportunities for players to compete for official gold bracelets. Highlights include the $333 Triple Treys No Limit Hold’em event on June 8 and the $5,300 WSOP Online High Roller Championship on July 9. Last year, online bracelet events awarded over $30 million in prize money, with this year’s schedule emphasizing six Mystery Bounty tournaments and guarantees of $5.5 million.

### Exclusive Satellites for In-Person Tournaments

WSOP Online will also offer exclusive satellites that allow players to qualify for land-based tournaments, with entry fees starting as low as $1. These will include daily single-table satellites and substantial promotions, such as guaranteed 25-seat Main Event mega-satellites on June 29 and July 1, designed to secure 25 $10,000 Main Event seats for every event.

Additionally, ten online bracelet events will commence under a hybrid format, with final tables contested live in Las Vegas during the WSOP. International satellites, held exclusively at GGPoker, are already in progress, allowing players worldwide to engage in the excitement.

### Participate in Both Online and Live Events

Players will have the unique opportunity to participate in WSOP Online while simultaneously engaging in live events at the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas, scheduled from May 27 to July 16, with the Main Event kicking off on July 2.

By weaving together these key elements, Caesars’ expansion of WSOP Online positions it as a leader in the rapidly evolving landscape of online poker, fostering community and competition while paving the way for substantial revenue growth in Pennsylvania and beyond.
