With the prestigious ICE conference attracting approximately 55,000 iGaming professionals to vibrant Barcelona, the atmosphere was electrified with opportunity and innovation. This year, iGamingFuture (iGF) kicked off the week with an exclusive invite-only Supper Club, held at the exquisite Kaktos Botanical Society, situated near the iconic Rambla avenue in the heart of Catalonia’s capital.

Celebrating its fifth iteration, the iGF Supper Club offers a unique blend of networking and educational experiences, uniting industry leaders to discuss strategies for navigating the ever-evolving online betting landscape. Attendees engaged in crucial conversations focused on ensuring sustainable growth and adapting to market dynamics in the iGaming sector.

The evening commenced with a warm welcome from Paul Foster, CEO of Crucial Compliance, one of iGF’s esteemed event partners. His introduction set a professional tone for what was to follow, paving the way for insightful presentations.

Josh Hodgson, a Senior Associate at H2 Gambling Capital, subsequently took the floor, providing invaluable insights into the true impact of regulatory frameworks on market revenue and competitiveness. His projections highlighted unexpected trends that could shape the industry’s future, making this a session that attendees found particularly enlightening.

Adding further depth to the discussion, Paula Wesołowska, Head of Risk and Customer Operations at financial disruptor Revolut, delivered a compelling keynote that examined the significant parallels between the financial services and iGaming industries. She adeptly navigated their shared compliance and regulatory challenges while proposing novel strategies and insights that iGaming professionals could adopt from outside their traditional scope.

As the night unfolded, the Supper Club fostered dynamic networking opportunities and the exchange of progressive ideas among attendees, culminating in a delightful exotic chocolate-tasting experience that provided a sweet finale to a thought-provoking evening.

Looking ahead, the iGF team is excited to announce the next Supper Club, scheduled to take place in Malta this September. To keep abreast of upcoming events and industry insights, we encourage you to subscribe to the iGF newsletter.
