Beter to move distribution in-house – Strategy

Beter, a prominent content and data provider in the gambling industry, is set to transition its content distribution system in-house as part of a strategic initiative aimed at bolstering and diversifying its operator partnerships.
Specializing in basketball, MMA, esports, table tennis, and igaming content, Beter is keen to exert greater control over its content distribution, thereby optimizing how it engages with its expansive network of operator partners.
With a recent record of “incredible success,” Beter is poised to strengthen its existing relations and collaborate with additional tier-one brands on a global scale. This strategic shift reflects a commitment to enhancing the quality and accessibility of its offerings to operators and players alike.
“We have made the strategic decision to take more control over the distribution of our content,” explains Beter CEO, Gal Ehrlich. “This move underscores our intent to align our distribution strategies with our long-term corporate objectives rather than reflecting any shortcomings from our prior partners. Our objective is to ensure we deliver the best possible experiences for our customers and their players.”
Previously, Beter collaborated with the sports data giant, Sportradar, for the distribution of its basketball, table tennis, and esports offerings. This partnership is set to conclude at the end of May. Until then, Beter’s products, including those from the ESportsBattle and Setka Cup tournaments, will remain accessible via Sportradar.
“I would like to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude to the Sportradar team for the remarkable collaboration we have enjoyed over the past three years,” added Ehrlich. “Throughout our partnership, we have been adamant about providing top-quality content to operators and, ultimately, to players. I take immense pride in what we have accomplished together.”
Beter Extends Esports Partnership with Fortuna Entertainment Group
In a significant development earlier this year, Beter confirmed the extension of its partnership with Fortuna Entertainment Group (FEG). Under this renewed agreement, Beter will supply FEG with an extensive esports odds feed, along with comprehensive coverage of various esports events and tournaments.
“Collaborating with leading operators offers us the opportunity to elevate the igaming industry with a premier esports betting product,” stated Evgeniy Bekker, Beter’s General Manager for esports. “I am confident that our product will empower FEG to fortify its market leadership while significantly enhancing the quality of services provided to its customers.”
As Beter embarks on this transformative journey, industry observers will be keen to monitor how these strategic shifts impact its partnerships and overall market presence. The decision to take content distribution in-house reflects current trends in the gambling sector, favoring greater control over distribution channels to enhance customer experience and business performance.
In conclusion, Beter’s proactive measures to optimize its distribution strategy not only signify an evolution in its operational practices but also reinforce its dedication to delivering exceptional gaming content that meets the demands of modern players and operators.
