Bayes Esports becomes exclusive data partner of ESL FACEIT

Bayes Esports Secures Exclusive Match Data Partnership with ESL FACEIT Group
Bayes Esports has solidified its position as a premier match data provider through a strategic partnership with ESL FACEIT Group (EFG), becoming the exclusive provider for major esports tournaments like the ESL Pro Tour. This expansive collaboration, which extends through 2025, enables Bayes Esports to manage match data for various renowned esports leagues, covering all ESL Pro Tour competitions in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO), ESL Impact events, Collegiate CS:GO Tournaments, and a range of Dota 2 properties hosted by EFG.
This partnership marks an evolution from previous agreements, emphasizing the need for robust match data infrastructure as a critical factor in unleashing the full potential of esports. Both organizations are committed to fostering innovations that will elevate the gaming landscape.
The collaboration will see the establishment of a specialized team dedicated to pioneering data-driven content creation. EFG gains access to Bayes Esports’ extensive technological portfolio, which already showcases advanced solutions aimed at optimizing the integrity and performance of esports. Their joint efforts will focus on implementing best practices to safeguard the integrity of esports competitions, leveraging Bayes Esports’ integrity market monitoring and rights holder protection services.
Martin Dachselt, Chief Executive and Managing Director of Bayes Esports, remarked, “This partnership signifies that we are on the right path, resonating with the most influential stakeholders in the industry. It also serves as a strong message against the grey market within the esports data sector.”
“Aligned with the leader in competitive gaming, armed with data from over 12,000 matches, we can continue to advocate for official data usage, uphold the integrity of major events, and decisively combat threats posed by unsanctioned offerings that detract from the industry’s long-term development.”
The agreement will lead to innovative Bayes Esports brand integrations in both broadcast segments and live events. Additionally, Bayes will develop automated and data-driven content creation solutions for EFG and its affiliates. One of the notable initiatives is “Project V,” a sophisticated tool that seamlessly synchronizes video and data to generate dynamic content, including highlight clips that can easily be shared across social media platforms.
Bernhard Mogk, Senior Vice President of Global Business Development and Commercial Strategy at EFG, stated, “In collaboration with Bayes Esports, we have established uniform industry standards for official data in recent years. Our joint initiatives place us at the forefront of maintaining and promoting integrity within the esports scene.”
“We are enthusiastic about continuing our long-term strategic partnership and are dedicated to innovating in the realm of data-driven content solutions. This effort aims to generate additional value that will contribute to the overall commercial viability of the entire esports ecosystem.”
As the esports industry continues to grow, partnerships like that of Bayes Esports and EFG illustrate a focused commitment to integrity and innovation, paving the way for a brighter and more sustainable future for competitive gaming.
